Wedding/Event Photography
If you’re looking for rates on any specific type of photography,
feel free to email me at r3t1awr3yd@yahoo.com .
.
I get a lot of questions frequently that I’m going to add to this page and attempt to answer here:
.
Q) What do you charge for a wedding?
A) My rate is dependent on a number of factors. I do my best to cover events as thoroughly and completely as possible. Shoot me a quick email with some basic details (hours needed, location, date, etc) and I’ll do my best to give you an idea of the cost.
.
Q) What kind of gear do you shoot with?
A) I shoot with Nikon gear. The 24-70 f/2.8 and 70-200 f/2.8 are my standard lenses along with some other goodies in my bag.
.
Q) How long does it take to process the wedding pictures?
A) I always quote 6-8 weeks but I haven’t had a set of pictures take me more than 4 weeks yet. I edit each choice picture one at a time. This helps me to pay as much attention to detail as the bride and groom did to plan the wedding in the first place.
.
Q) You said you took thousands of pictures… why do I only have 200?
A) A wedding is a fast paced, one time event. Many of the pictures that I take are duplicates for the sake of capturing moments as close to in focus as possible. I usually take two pictures each time I press the shutter to increase my chances of making sure that I capture as accurately as possible, these impossibly unique moments. I scrap every out of focus picture. Period.
.
Q) What programs do you use for editing?
A) Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS3.
