Who me? YES, I shoot events!!
Easy to forget sometimes that though I’m not the most people person (which is hilarious because even with my lightspeed thought patterns, I usually take EXTRA time in thinking of how to talk to people), I do LOVE to be in the mix of tons of people. It’s great. I can be alone with my camera even in a crowded room. Just me, my camera, and my victim. 
That said, here are some preliminary shots from convention that I really like. xD

The real reason for convention
Youth, paint, games, and no one died!! :)
So last night, AJ preached about worship and what it really means and he had the kids paint how they worship the Lord…
But before the preaching…. there was a game of who can avoid using their hands to pick up a box with their teeth lol.

So here is a set of pictures that pretty much speak for themselves. The drama team for the youth group at church had a great performance this morning. I posted these pictures in color on my flickr but like them much more in black and white. Enjoy

WordPress acting weird…
Okay, so the last few nights that I decided to post, I’ve been having issue with wordpress’ web-based interface. Until JUST NOW at this ungodly hour of the morning has it started to work like it did before. *sigh*. I hope this was a temporary issue. (Basically the add a picture window would load in the wordpress posting page instead of in miniature popup window. Creepy.)
Keeping in line my picture whoriffic tendancies, here are some pictures that I’ve taken at the Potomac Youth Convention held in Virginia. I’ve had the opportunity (thanks Tim Twigg!!!) to shoot this even a few times over the years and hone my “that’s all the available light?!” skills.
