Spotlight: Will Dyer, Macro/Food photographer extraordinaire
Extraordinaire is right. My own brother puts me to shame and rocks macro and food pictures like nobody’s business. I figured today would be a great day to highlight his talent! (Are you tired of seeing my work yet? lol).

Super Dyer Bros. DC Adventure!!
Pictures. Pictures. Pictures. Pictures. I have TONS after today’s adventures with my brother in DC. Yes, he shoots Canon gear but I never let that hold me back from taking a better picture with my Nikon glass… I mean from letting him tag along! lol. xD
So without further ado, I present to you, DC.

These will be taking over my blog for a while but here are a few favorites from tonight’s edits…
A lot of these shots were made with the 70-200 that I just bought and a lot of the shots were made at impossible speeds. I was hand holding 1/20s shots with very little issue. That piece of machinery amazes me. 
I shot everything in the reception hall @ 800 ISO so I apologize for the noise. I’m looking into some denoising programs.
Makes me wanna dump my D90 for the D7000… I guess I need to sell my Tamron 70-300 and Tokina 50-135 now. Maybe I should throw the Tokina 11-16 in that pile and pick up the 14-24… tempted…

Guilty pleasure and lighting with a model…
No fancy high key for the new Halo reach. lol. Let’s be real, this game is meant to be played and not shot in the kitchen lol.
And then I was like… wouldn’t it be fun to play with flashes? So my brother indulged me and modeled for a couple of flash shots. One side lit shot (like sporty people do) and two cross lit shots. I can’t wait till my hot shoe umbrella light stand holders get here lol.

My brother, the chocolatier!
So I came home today and who did I see working in the kitchen? My brother!! (Didn’t you read the title!? lol)
Apparently he was making some Woodford Reserve Bourbon Vanilla and Tahitian Vanilla Chai bon bons (as I copy the type of chocolates directly from his twitter lol). Very killer and very delicious!!
