A quick teaser “shot”!
So we had church outside today as we do about every quarter it seems and I got adventurous with my camera. I’ve seen the hits that camera men take against pro basketball players but took a chance anyways. With RJ standing at 6’4″ holding a speedlight with a softbox III for me, I caught this gem. More pics to come later.

Okay. I remember shooting family pictures for my church in california (CCoDHS AOG lol) and I did OK but I definitely had no photographer game back then. Fast forward three plus years later and VOILA. Today, I think I nailed some good shots of families at church. Here are a couple of those shots.

OMG it’s wednesday and I’ve got church shots (big surprise, I know lol).
The first is of a guy named Dave. Cool guy. I just noticed the light from the computer monitor made some nice contrast and shot it
The second picture is of the whole room, three shot pano. I’ll more than likely upload it to Facebook too for AJ.

Youth, paint, games, and no one died!! :)
So last night, AJ preached about worship and what it really means and he had the kids paint how they worship the Lord…
But before the preaching…. there was a game of who can avoid using their hands to pick up a box with their teeth lol.

I’m super depressed on how much noise my camera made @ 1600 ISO. I mean, I know the D90 isn’ t the D3 but seriously… I’m saddened just a bit. Here are a couple more shots from the worship night…

Live worship music @ Church tonight…
So yes, as promised in my last post (thanks for the reminder Johnny P!!), I shot a worship service at church tonight. They sound techs recorded live and I shot pictures the whole time. It totally rocked. I just looked through my pics and… well… they’re OK by my standard but the lighting was difficult so I had to make due.
