Another excuse and a couple of shots
Where have the blog posts been you ask? Well, this weekend, in the period of these three holiday days off, I put a contract in for a house, got a counter offer, and accepted a contract for a house. I am grinning like an idiot!!! I’m going to be a bona fide home owner in about 5 weeks!!! So a lot has happened in three days.
I still had time to edit the last of the PYM convention pics. And here they are…
Enjoy

A blog dedicated to my other hobby… MUSIC
So the band’s back together! (we actually just became a band, there was no before lol).
Here’s a shot of our new ReverbNation site ( click the picture below to be teleported there! )
We don’t have an official name yet but we’re working on it
Enjoy the music there!!!
Hey, where are the Wally blog posts?!
I actually HAVE been editing pictures. I just can’t post ‘em. I got the opportunity to shoot a very high profile person but along with shooting that person came an agreement that their pictures wouldn’t be posted all nilly-willy on my blog and the interwebs. Go figure right?
I’ve also been working on getting this studio CD of my band done. Let me just say… IT IS AWESOME so far. I’m totally digging it. I’ll be posting some free music up here as soon as I can so you can download a track and listen for yourself
Let’s see if I can dig through some oldie but goodie pics to keep you entertained… how about some pics of my adventures?
As always, enjoy

Yessir, I’m almost done going through their “day before your marriage” shoot and wedding day pics. I’m LOVING the vivid colors the D7000 seems to render. Is this really the magic of 14bit vs 12bit raw? Who cares! I just love it!!!
As always, Enjoy!!!

My best friend got married this weekend! (and I shot a wedding I was in lol)
It’s true. I was the best man in my best friend craig’s wedding (to his lady Caroline) and it was totally fun. I also lead worship for them too. And too them to their first married movie! And played halo with them first as a married couple! Mwah hahahaha!!!
So yeah, they’re honeymooning in boston and I’m editing wedding pictures at home.
Here are some teasers. (two actually, I should say “a couple of” but it’s got too much potential for punnage).
ENJOY, as always

The couple and their coupe (which is just couple minus the L lol)

Who doesn't love wedding parties?!
A trip to floriday!
So, yes, indeed. Thursday morning early (or tomorrow night late??), I’m going to start my drive to West Palm beach, FL. Camera gear? Check. Studio lighting? Check. Clothes? Double check. Guitar? Check.
Google maps says it’ll take me 17 hours to get to Craig’s house. I’m gonna be a best man-photographer-singer-dude so I need to be ready, right? lol.
I bet I get there in 15 or 16 hours. 15 would match my longest straight drive record and 16 would break it.
The first long distance drive I ever did was with a friend from Daytona Beach, FL to my house here in 14 hours.
The second long distance drive I ever did was from here in MD to california over 5 days, stopping in South Carolina, Louisiana, and Phoenix to visit friends. I think my longest sprint was from “la quinta” Louisiana to El Paso. Something like 13 hours.
The third long distance drive I ever did was from california (palm desert) to here in MD over three days stopping in Memphis, Tennessee to pick up a friend on the way home. 15 hours, 15 hours, 11 hours, home. I couldn’t wait to get home. (California is not all it’s cracked up to be, who knew!? The people are great. The area? Meh.)
This trip to West Palm beach will be the longest I’ve ever been in my car in one sitting.
Wish me luck
Sorry no pics in the blog today but I have to pack at least a little tonight
Local Band : Branch Avenue
Yup. Like the metro stop to get to my compound for work. It’s a great area. If you’re into hookers and getting shot, that is. Anyways, these guys are local and played at the potomac youth convention this year and put on a good show. A little rough to start but the crowd warmed up quickly.
As always, ENJOY!
On a sidenote… should I have done a mother’s day tribute set of pictures instead? Maybe. Y’know what. I’ll throw in a picture in my next blog to show what I got my mom for good ol’ mom’s day. xD

Who me? YES, I shoot events!!
Easy to forget sometimes that though I’m not the most people person (which is hilarious because even with my lightspeed thought patterns, I usually take EXTRA time in thinking of how to talk to people), I do LOVE to be in the mix of tons of people. It’s great. I can be alone with my camera even in a crowded room. Just me, my camera, and my victim.
That said, here are some preliminary shots from convention that I really like. xD
As always, ENJJJJJOOOOYYYYY!!!!!!!!

I met an illusionist… Joshua K. Jordan
Yessssssireeeeee. This guy is the real deal. Young guy too. His mastery of slight of hand is pretty killer. The best part? He’s a comedian too. lol. He’ll have you rolling on the floor just as quickly as he’ll have you wide eye and wondering. These pictures don’t have a lot of context (go figure, magic is a LIVE art) so please, feel free to interpret them as your imagination allows
As always, ENJOY!!! (even without context!! lol)
