Roku XD player for streaming media channels

If you’reĀ  a netflix or hulu fan and have been looking for a way to stream it to your TV, you’ve got a few options.

Xbox 360, Computer (PC/MAC), Internet TV, Wireless Blu-Ray player, iPhone4, etc…

One of the niftiest option that I found is the Roku player. Makes no noise. Takes up the space of about three CDs stacked on top of each other and comes with a generally friendly interface. For the record, I don’t work for Roku in any way shape or form. I was just looking for a way to stream netflix to my TV without my loud xbox 360 making tons of noise or straining my eyes staring at my iPhone4.

I LOVE IT. The only weird thing about it? It can never be turned off… not without disconnecting it lol. SUPER WEIRD, right? lol. It only draws 4 watts of juice so I’m not too worried about it. :P

Onto the PICS!!!

When I saw the shots on Roku’s site, I thought those were SD cards in the roku receiver and remote but they’re just cloth tabs lol.

It streams perfectly and looks great over HDMI in 1080p :D
