So yes. It’s true. There will be a blog post coming up dedicated to a friend of mine named Rich Mc-G. He religiously checks my blog for cool pics and keeps me entertained with comments via my iPhone. Good stuff.

So like I explained in the picture with the bloody young man a few posts ago, this is the fourth year of LiT (Life in Transition, the youth group I help with) Olympics and though the night ended on a somber note of blood and thirteen stitches, fun was still to be had. xD

A short blog bio copout single pic post… what??
So here we go… since my birthday, I’ve received many a wonderful things including monies and a ball head and a gift card and even a preorder (paid) of Halo Reach. The one gift I got that wasn’t an inanimate object is my best friend of years, Craig. I’ve known him since he were a youngster (18) and sometimes feel like I’ve known him for ages. Anyways he was at the LiT olympics last week and I figured I’d take a quick pic of him and the pic turned out pretty good. (minus the giant orange block to the right, fellow scrutinizing photographers, I KNOW!). (I have my fiance to thank for his plane ticket!!! I LOVE my FIANCE!!!)
Anyways, like the title says, this post is pretty much a copout since I’m tired and desperate for sleep.

Eeek, two more strange pictures… of a strange vehicle
Alrighty, I still haven’t finished processing the pictures from LiT olympics yet (see last post) so again, to hold any anxious readers over, let me introduce my buddy Craig. I’ve known Craig for years and he’s actually visiting from Florida this week. We stopped by his cousin’s house this weekend to check out his $3700 government surplus purchase. What in the world would a 21 year old redneck young man purchase from the government for that price?

My brother, the chocolatier!
So I came home today and who did I see working in the kitchen? My brother!! (Didn’t you read the title!? lol)
Apparently he was making some Woodford Reserve Bourbon Vanilla and Tahitian Vanilla Chai bon bons (as I copy the type of chocolates directly from his twitter lol). Very killer and very delicious!!

Last trip to OC for 2010
Hi all
Today, Mollie and I visited OCMD one last time before the end of the summer (and more importantly before Mollie starts all her college classes). Definitely had a good time.
Stopped and saw the Jesus sand sculptures from Son Spot.
I didn't clone out the light above Jesus to show the irony of man using a light to light up THE light
Mollie got on the sling shot with a total stranger named Cayla (even paid for her since they don’t allow single riders?!???).
Then we hit up Hoopers for delicious crabs and headed back to reality. Ahhhhh. Life is good.
Oh snap! Did I totally mention that I got video of Mollie and Cayla on the sling shot?? xD

Another blog I read… Gary Fong
So today’s post is dedicated to a pioneer of nifty tools used by all kinds of photographers. His name is Gary Fong. The guy who invented the lightsphere and a few other nifty tools. Why am I highlighting a guy who makes tools that I’ve never used? (Sorry Mr. Fong, I LOVE lumiquest’s Soft Box III lol). I mention Mr. Fong because of the post he wrote about wedding photography that got me hooked on his site.

… went really well! I set up my main on a 24″ softbox, my secondary on a 9″ soft box (though it makes me want to buy a strip), and my hair light up with a 15* snoot. Fun times!! Here’s a shot that I quickly edited so I have something to blog lol. The rest is coming soon!

So yeah. My future step-father in law has a ministry in baltimore called Solid Rock Ministries. I’ve shot them before but just last sunday they were hoping for a group shot so here it is!
He’s the one with his eye closed next to my future MIL. I know there are some technical issues with the pic but this was unplanned and thrown on me 5 minutes before it happened. lol.
