Thoughts for food
I read my first two ebooks with iBooks today and I must say, the free books available are pretty sweet. Here are a couple quotes from “All employees are marketers” by Richard Cordock.
“However, what I’d like to do in this book is widen that definition, and go back to Seth Godin’s point that marketing is about telling and spreading stories.”
The second quote is:
“It was the late, great Peter Drucker, the wise old sage of management philosophy, who said that the primary purpose of a company is to get a customer. For without a paying customer, you do not have a business.”
I really like how those quotes put business into perspective and really give businesses the human feel they need. I think a lot of businesses forget these two simple principles. I hope I never do.
